Pathways Community Mental Health is coordinating the second annual Marquette County “Walk a Mile in My Shoes” rally designed to increase awareness of the stigma associated with requesting help with mental health concerns. We hope that you will join us in this effort.
Our goal is to bring together people from a wide range of organizations, schools, and the community at large in order to shine a light on the many ways that individuals can reach out for help within our communities. Pulling together resources from several groups will enable us to open the eyes of community members across the region to mental health services that support and empower those who may be feeling isolated and without hope.
Please consider joining us for a day of presentations and activities culminating in a group walk in the City of Marquette. We would like to include students, educators, health care professionals, and caring citizens in the remaining planning, organization and implementation of this event.
If you can’t attend or assist with the event, we are accepting donations. The donations will be used to offset the expenses of this year's event and/or promote future Walk a Mile events.
